A seasoned marketing-communications professional with 35 years of experience, Nancy Aust Strickland counsels C-level executives, elected officials, governments and not-for-profit leaders on communications strategy and process improvement. She has managed and developed consumer-facing customer-specific multi-brand programs with Walmart and leading retailers engaging millions of people across North America. Her extensive event and sponsorship management experience includes NASCAR, the PGA Tour, the National Football League, Minor League Baseball, Forrest L. Woods Pro-Bass Fishing, and professional athletes, as well as managing a 100K person commemoration on The Mall of the U.S. Capitol and a gala benefit raising $3 million for America’s National Parks. 

A respected voice in the sustainability arena for nearly 30 years, Nancy has designed and implemented corporate responsibility and sustainability platforms for corporations and professional services firms minimizing carbon footprint and costs while improving performance to drive growth and profit. She created and directed Unilever’s 16 year, $50 million partnership benefitting America’s National Parks. She counsels America’s Public Lands Stakeholders on consumer-engagement, resource management and brand building. Her management experience and consultancy to corporations, federal and state agencies and philanthropic organizations, demonstrate her ability to engage partners and customers effectively

Nancy has worked in government and politics as a press secretary, campaign manager, fundraiser and in advance and event management.  She has led teams to open Packaging Development Centers, Global Technology Centers, Plastics Recycling facilities and the North American headquarters for a U.K. based industrial cable manufacturer.  As well she has planned and executed the operations and events leading up to the opening of five star resorts and hotels.
